Fishing Announcement!

Now the Government have introduced new Covid-19 measures, we are pleased to announce that we will be re-opening fishing to the public but under new stricter rules which are below and attached.

 

Coronavirus and Fishing Rules

 

You must book the day before you want to fish. Latest booking will be 20:00

To book call Jenna 07773092197. We will take your full name, contact number, number of people you want to book, what time you will be arriving, number of rods and your car make and registration.

We will only be offering 20 spaces. This will be 10 spaces on the bottom pond and 10 spaces on the next pond up.

Fishing will only be open from 6am to 6pm.

Will are only accepting payment through PayPal to keep contact down. Once you have paid you will need to text the mobile number above, where she will confirm your place. (Only come if your place has been confirmed)

You can only use the spaces you have booked the night before. If you arrive and need or use an extra space, you will be asked to leave. As we can only allow people who have booked and been allocated a place.

On arrival you must drive straight down to the fishing ponds parking area. You will need to open and close the gate going down to the pond. Please do not stop on the yard.

We will come down with a register throughout the day to check numbers.

The toilet and café facilities are closed.

Do not leave home if you have symptoms of Covid-19 and follow Government advice on self-isolation.

Use hand sanitiser or wear gloves for when you need to touch the gate. Consider wearing a face mask if this will make you feel safer but remember that masks are not a substitute for social distancing measures, and you must still stay 2 metres away from people who aren’t part of your household.

You may only fish alone, with members of your household, or with one person from outside your household providing that you always maintain social distancing and stay 2 metres away from them.

No sharing of fishing tackle or other items under current guidance.

No sharing of fishing positions / pegs except by members of the same household.

If the rules are being found to be broken, we will have to close to fishing ponds.
