Troutlake

Our 1.5 acre trout lake is situate within the beautiful setting of Hargate Hill Equestrian Centre at the foot of the Pennine Hills.

The lake is stocked to capacity with brown, rainbow and blue trout; always hungry and always up for a fight.

• With 14 standing platforms spaced well apart it's never overcrowded.
• Disabled parking is available at the water's edge.
• If you're trying fly fishing for the first time, we even have equipment to hire.
• With a cafe, toilets and picnic area, the rest of the family can enjoy the day, even try a horse riding lesson (booking required).

Rules

1. Valid permit must be purchased before fishing and not before 8.00am.
2. Environment Agency Rod Licence required.
3. No shared rods.
4. Please complete and hand in catch return slips.
5. Min 6lb leader/single fly only.
6. No wading (deep water!).
7. Please dispose of all litter and waste fishing line etc properly.
8. No lures.
9. All cars to be parked on main car park except disabled badge holders.
10. Brown trout must be returned.
